We offer comprehensive grain storage and merchandising services designed to meet the needs of local producers as well as end-users. Our grain handling services include cleaning, drying, and grading grains to meet industry standards for quality. We also specialize in grain transportation, providing reliable delivery services to and from our facilities.

Seller Options:

All pricing is based on CBOT and will only be priced during open trading hours. Loads delivered on spot sale prior to 1:45pm will be priced on that day’s closing price. Loads delivered on spot sale after 1:45pm will be priced on the next trading day. Discount schedule applies to all commodities.

Exchange/Grain Bank:

This is for feed customers who bring soybeans in and take Express Meal out at a later date. Any excess unprocessed bushels will be treated as DP and fees will apply accordingly when priced. Does not apply to corn/wheat/oats.

Delayed Price:

Deliver grain now and price at a later date. Fabin Brothers Farms takes title to the grain upon delivery. No load out permitted. Grain can remain in DP until August 30 of the following year for soybeans and corn, June 15 for wheat and oats. Any remaining DP bushels will be priced at that time.

Open Storage:

Allows the producer a worry-free and secure way to store their grain until a time in which they want to retrieve those bushels back at their convenience. The producer keeps full title to their grain.

Forward Contract:

Lock in price or basis now and deliver at a later date. Contracts must be completed prior to delivery of grain. Contract terms/conditions apply.

Spot Sale:

Grain is priced upon delivery. Any grain delivered after 1:45 pm EST or over the weekend will be priced on the next trading day.

Target Contract:

Customer determines their target price, and order is only filled if/when the market strikes that price.

Handling Fees:

Please note: All monthly fees are pro-rated daily. All fees subject to change.

  • Delayed Pricing (DP): $.07 per bushel per month ($.14 minimum charge)
  • Open Storage (OS): $.10 per bushel per month ($.20 minimum charge)
  • Grain Bank/Exchange: $63 per ton processing
  • Load out (Open Storage only): $.25 per bushel

Additional Details:

Grain sold to Fabin Brothers within seven (7) calendar days of delivery will not be charged a fee.

Customers have only three (3) business days from date of delivery to change grain handling option. It is the customer’s responsibility to contact Fabin Brothers Farms to make that change.

Any customer loading grain out from storage assumes all risk of quality regarding test weight, foreign materials, moisture, vomitoxins, etc. All incoming grain is blended and cannot be segregated by customer. Fabin Brothers Farms LLC gives no guarantee that the customer will get back the exact quality of grain that they delivered on a prior date in time.
